CHROME Step 1) Log into your GMAIL account Step 2) Close the BROWSER Step 3) Start the browser Step 4) You are still logged in. OTHER BROWSERS Step 1) Log into your GMAIL account Step 2) Close the BROWSER Step 3) Start the browser Step 4) You are still NOT logged in with SESSION ONLY cookies enabled. Again, this is because CHROME has an inherent (built-in) PERSISTENT cookie concept. Users are at risk believing that by closing the browser, they have automatically signed off gmail.com.
