Issue 2408: Cannot sign into multiple gmail accounts even with multiple
instances of Chrome running
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=2408
Comment #3 by [EMAIL PROTECTED]:
In step 2 when you click on the icon to open a new window it does not open
a new
instance. It's grouped into the instance you already have running, i.e. it
shares
the same cookies, cache, etc.
If you want another instance, run with this command-line switch:
--user-data-dir=<path to new user profile>
(You can set up an additional shortcut for that)
This will run a separate instance, allowing you to log into two Gmail
accounts
simultaneously. Note that this is really a totally separate instance, it
shares none
of the bookmarks, history, cookies, etc. with your original user profile.
Alternatively, incognito mode works for this too, as was already suggested.
