Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Firefox 2: OK
IE 6: OK
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. configure proxy server not to allow access to some_address
2. add some_address to proxy exceptions list in configuration
3. open some_address
What is the expected result?
Direct access should be used, which will successfully load page from
some_address
What happens instead?
Proxy sends error that it does not allow access to some_address
