Comment #3 by lcamtuf: Yup, I believe there were security problems with .toDataURL() and/or .getImageData(...) in WebKit due to missing checks after non-same-origin images (bitmap or SVG) are rendered on a canvas. Even after these are resolved, the whole implementation could use a quick look.
