The latest nightly builds of Chromium now play video cleanly without the
pauses.
This fix will arrive automatically in a future release of Google Chrome.
If you are
tempted to run the nightly Chromium build you should know a few things.
1. Chromium does not update automatically. You should use Google Chrome
to be sure
you are receiving fixes and security updates.
2. You can have Chromium and Google Chrome installed simultaneously and
they will
not interfere with each other.
3. The nightly Chromium builds are not tested like a Google Chrome
release. While
they may work better in some ways they may be much worse in others. :)
