Comment #21 by [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Got it, this happens with the newer versions of JRE. It worked on the older build 1.6.0_10-rc2-b13 that I had but fails on the latest build 1.6.0_10-rc2-b32. The exact symptom is that when selecting a menu item the menu itself is pulled up in the mouse down event. The menus work fine if you select using a keyboard. So seems like this issue is mouse input related.
