What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open a page in chrome
2. resize the window and make it small enough to get a horizontal scroll
bar.
3. slide your finger along the bottom edge of the touch pad.
What is the expected result?
the page should slide horizontally
What happens instead?
nothing happened.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

touch pad driver provider: Alps
(vertical scrolling works fine)
