In order to identify the issue, can you please provide the following  
details:
1. Chrome version (wrench menu - About Google Chrome)
2. website on which this happens
3. flash version (open new tab and type about:plugins in the address bar)

Also, please note that a number of issues causing high CPU usage with flash  
have been
fixed recently. They will be rolled out with the next update. Meanwhile,  
you can try
out one of the recent build:
http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/snapshots/chromium-rel-xp/3604/chrome-win32.zip
No need to uninstall Chrome -- just download and unzip this file, and run
"chrome.exe" inside the extracted folder.  Please give this a try and see  
if it helps
solve the problem for you.
