Issue 3182: Flash consumes CPU even if audio or video is not playing, possibly due to SetUnhandledExceptionFilter http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=3182
Comment #2 by amjoshi: In order to identify the issue, can you please provide the following details: 1. Chrome version (wrench menu - About Google Chrome) 2. website on which this happens 3. flash version (open new tab and type about:plugins in the address bar) Also, please note that a number of issues causing high CPU usage with flash have been fixed recently. They will be rolled out with the next update. Meanwhile, you can try out one of the recent build: http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/snapshots/chromium-rel-xp/3604/chrome-win32.zip No need to uninstall Chrome -- just download and unzip this file, and run "chrome.exe" inside the extracted folder. Please give this a try and see if it helps solve the problem for you. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
