Issue 3585: Problems with certain videos with Adobe Flash 10 http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=3585
New issue report by ksefchik: Chrome Version : 0.3.154.3 URLs (if applicable) : http://www.thedailyshow.com/ http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 3: not tested Firefox 3: PARTIAL - See Below IE 7: not tested What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Download the new version of the Adobe Flash Player here: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi? P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&promoid=DXLUJ 2. Go to one of the above listed sites 3. Attempt to play a video What is the expected result? The Flash plugin loads and displays a video player. In Firefox, Escapist Magazine videos played fine while the Daily Show videos displayed a white area that needed to be clicked before it plays anything. This could be a bug with the new Flash. What happens instead? Nothing is displayed on thedailyshow.com. Escapistmagazine.com displays a grey box. YouTube still works fine, for some reason.
