What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Visited a website that had been hijacked yesterday. I'm not sure what
code the page contained, I'm guessing something like the short attached
html page. The page continually reloaded and spawned new chrome windows
and each window opened a copy of microsoft outlook, eventually making the
system unusable and requiring a hard reboot.
What is the expected result?
Maybe prevent the browser from following mailto: links directly embeded in
the page body, not as a response to a user event.
What happens instead?
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
