Issue 3631: Closing popups sometimes crashes the browser
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=3631
New issue report by vkapartzianis:
Chrome Version : 0.3.155.0 (Developer Build 3653)
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Safari 3: OK
Firefox 3: OK
IE 7: OK
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. "Google bookmark" a page using the bookmarklet from Google Bookmarks
2. Press "Save" in the window that pops up. Chromium crashes.
What is the expected result?
The window should close without crashing the browser.
What happens instead?
Chromium crashes and restarts.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
This happens with or without magic_browzR enabled and with many other
popups (I just used Google Bookmark as an example). It's an issue with many
of the latest builds. It does *not* happen if you switch window focus
before closing the popup (i.e. there's no crash if you switch to another
Chromium window, switch back to the popup and close it).
