Issue 2413: Add option to white-list domains that are allowed to get/set
cookies
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=2413

Comment #5 by myst3r0ns:
In both Firefox and IE, users can block third party cookies entirely, while
allowing
first party AND have a block list for certain first party cookies.

First party cookies need a block list for emerging Deep packet inspection
technologies whereby the ISP will persevere in trying to get every user to
opt in by
prior examination of any first party cookies held, if the user is able to
block (for
instance in the case of British Telecom testing Phorm equipment)
webwise.net cookies,
the users will not be intercepted to opt in or out, and henceforth not have
to ensure
a cookie is held for every user on every computer in their household.

I will not personally use chrome as default browser until it has similar
cookie
management to firefox, in the US this may not be such an issue now, in the
UK Phorm
has not been ousted as was Nebuad, yet, but these companies are also moving
to less
technologically developed countries and countries with less privacy/security
awareness.

For anyone who does not believe this will happen with first party cookies,
its
happening now. Anyone opting in (it does not have to be the household
account holder,
any child could be presented with the option) opts in for the household AND
changes
the account holders broadband terms and conditions to allow the account to
be
profiled/targetted by dpi equipment.

In summary, I would like to see Allow first party cookies with a block
list, and no
third party cookies.
