Issue 4102: Yahoo Search from Omnibox needs different URL http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=4102
Comment #1 by [EMAIL PROTECTED]: There are a lot of different instances of Yahoo! in our data, for different sites around the world (many of which clearly don't use the same query params). So I'm reluctant to make this change for anything other than the U.S. without explicit direction, but I suspect Yahoo! might appreciate it if I did. Could we perhaps get clear guidance from them on what to do worldwide? We can pull out and highlight the relevant URLs (look for the yahoo_xxx entires in template_url_prepopulate_data.cc) if it would help them. BTW, we could easily make just this change for 1.0 -- it's the work of a couple of minutes. If you want to get it done, both sky and jungshik know how to change the template_url_prepopulate_data file (and rev its internal version number). -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
