To investigate this issue, it seems MSIME 2007 ignores delete requests from
Chrome.
This issue does not happen on Firefox and I'm sure we have solutions to fix
this
issue. Nevertheless, I would like to punt this issue to focus on more
serious ones
because this issue only happens only on Windows XP whose advanced text
service (or
CUAS) is disabled, i.e. this configuration is not a standard one of Windows
XP SP2 or
SP3.
