Comment #2 by paul.x.simpson: No, I'm using a completely standard install with a shortcut that simply launches 'chrome.exe' without any switches. It has not occurred since I posted the bug so I haven't been able to confirm whether any Chrome.exe processes remain active. The next time this happens I will check task manager (I'm running Windows XP SP2) and report back.
