Issue 68: Allow New Tab page to be replaced by user specified homepage http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=68
Comment #11 by Jagguar7: Users want more options. I suggest having an option of just opening the homepage every time a new tab is opened. I suggest also giving the user the ability to customize the new tab page similarly to the iGoogle homepage. This could allow the user to include favorite bookmarks, web history, a selected list of bookmarked pages instead of the most browsed pages (similar to Opera speed dial), all in addition to the current list of features. And I strongly suggest expanding the list of closed tabs beyond just 3. If I don't have the option selected to "restore pages that were open last" when Chrome is opened, I want to be able to do so from the new tab page. And each of these features can list the bookmarks in either list form or thumbnail form. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
