Comment #7 by steve.armstrong: For epg (Comment 5), and others with the same concern: Using CTRL+F to find the link (hit ENTER to find next occurrence) then pressing ESC (which will close the find box and leave focus on the link) then ENTER (which will follow the link) is a possible substitute.
