Comment #3 by [EMAIL PROTECTED]: This are the steps to recreate the same problem: 1. Install 154.18, keep Chrome running 2. Install 154.22, restart Chrome 3. Note that about->version still says 154.18 even though the pv key is 154.22 and chrome.exe is also 154.22 (see bug http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail? id=4316). Keep Chrome running. 4. Install 154.23, installer finds directory 154.22 is not in use and deletes it. Since we have fixed the problem in step 3, this should not happen in future. If pv is 154.22 (with no opv), we better be running 154.22. I am going to mark this as Duplicate of 4316.
