New issue 4665 by geofftitmuss: Home page button does not allow web applications to save changes first. http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=4665 Chrome Version : 0.4.154.23 URLs (if applicable) : Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 3: n/a Firefox 3: n/a IE 7: n/a What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Customise Chrome to add the home button (house picture) to your buttons. 2. Use a web application, and make changes. eg load www.j2e.com/new 3. when app has loaded, click on page and type something. 4. try to close the tab, correct behaviour is displayed, ie message asking if you want to close. 5. cancel message with 'stay on page' button. 6. Now press Chrome home page button. Web application is terminated, and changes are lost. What is the expected result? stay on page warning should be displayed. What happens instead? application is terminated, changes are lost. Please provide any additional information below.
