This is an issue that was also reported against Picasa, see
http://b/issue?id=756867
The problem here appears to be the proxy's. If I use my wired ethernet
connection I
can reproduce this 100% in Safari for Mac, Safari for Windows, and Chrome.
However,
when I switch to my wireless network I cannot reproduce it. Clearly there
is
something going on with the network stack. I tried FF on the Mac where I
can always
reproduce the problem. It never has an issue.
