Comment #5 on issue 3977 by [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Chrome doesn't launch
Adobe reader when the option not to open pdf's in a browser is set
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=3977
Open Adobe Reader > Edit > Preferences > Internet and uncheck "Display PDF
in
browser"(if it's checked)
Go to any page that embeds a
pdf(http://www.imf.org/external/pubs/ft/weo/2008/update/03/pdf/1108.pdf)
and you
should see the error message that file is not found. Also, Chrome doesn't
launch the
PDF with Adobe Reader and the tab opened doesn't respond.
IE7/FF3: ok
Safari3.1.2/Chrome154.29: not ok
