On my home PC (Windows XP Home Edition SP3), I refreshed the Root Store. IE downloaded the same certificate for the root "SwissSign Gold CA - G2" with auto update. You can forward my comment 12 to Microsoft. The code in comment 12 should be sufficient for someone familiar with Windows CryptoAPI.
