Per discussion:
"I began to think this might not be the most useful thing when I discovered
how few
people actually do this. ... This change could probably be abandoned until
I figure
out what I want the View interface to look like in this area. Not a super
high
priority."
Since we don't know what we want things to look like, I'm just going to
close the bug
for now. We can open a new one later when something starts becoming
annoying.
