What operating systems are you experiencing this on?
Nicolas, I remember you mentioned seeing an issue where ProxyForUrl() hangs
on Vista
build bots?
I am working on changes to the proxy code as part of issue 2764 which
should obviate
this bug if it is due to a WinHTTP incompatibility.
