New issue 5342 by [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Sometimes GMail does not display  
checkboxes in Chrome

   Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
      Safari 3: ok
     Firefox 3: ok

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. login gmail account.
2.

What is the expected result?
In Inbox view, there should be checkboxes before conversation threads.
Checkboxes are used to selection conversations and apply actions on them.

What happens instead?
No checkboxes in Chrome, so no way to select and delete/achieve
conversations.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

Sometime checkboxes are there, and sometimes are not. Both my wife and I
experienced the same string behavior on the same computer with different
GMail accounts.

The machin is a Windows Vista, using classical Window XP theme.
