Another point is that this custom UI stuff causes more problems than it has  
benefits.
I just posted #5535 before I found this issue and commented on #355 and I  
bet there
are a couple of other issues with similar problems - all caused by not  
using the
Operating System's default UI toolkit.
There *at the very least* has to be a change of the colors, to respect the  
system's
settings.
