close 'Inspect element' everytime you start chrome it will add 'Home Page'
tab to chrome window

Those videos were great, very helpful in illustrating the problem!
That said, at this point I'm not able to reproduce this issue on the most
recent
Trunk build, 1.0.155.0 (Developer Build 7138), so I'm going to mark it as
WontFix
(non-reproducible).
