Comment #2 on issue 2196 by [email protected]: After uninstall, Chrome
remains registered with the Windows shell for the http protocol
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=2196

I've heard a complaint of this from a reporter. She claims that, after
uninstalling
Chrome, clicking on a link in Outlook results in an error message, "This
operation
has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer." She was
using
WindowsXP and "an older version" of Outlook.
