you could be here all day long explaining how the omnibar was designed for  
speed but
it doesn't change the fact that omnibar results are mostly useless, an old  
tyre
company slogan explains the issue very well, "speed without handling is  
useless" (or
something like that). Firefox resolved the speed problem showing results
incrementally and replacing the favicon with a throbber while it is  
querying the
database, but normally the desired result is the first that appears, so it  
isn't slow
at all
