It does not happen with Hindi and Burmese anymore, but it still deletes the whole syllable with Tamil. I have also tried the Keyboard included with Vista and the issue remains the same. I guess the bug needs to be reopened. Test Method: 1. Enable Tamil keyboard from Text Service and Input Langauges on Vista. 2. Paste "ரை" into a text box in Chrome. 3. Press Backspace. What is the expected result: Tamil Vowel Sign AI should be deleted. What happens instead: The whole syllable cluster gets deleted.
