New issue 5813 by loligoth0: Modal dialog should be contained in its own
tab instead of locking up the whole browser
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=5813

Chrome Version :

URLs (if applicable) :
http://www.w3schools.com/JS/tryit.asp?filename=tryjs_alert

Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
      Safari 3:
     Firefox 3:
          IE 7:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. go to the above URL
2. press the "Display alert box" button
3.

What is the expected result?
considering Chrome's multiple process architecture and each tab having its
own running js engine, the alert box should be contained in its own tab

What happens instead?
the alert box locks up the whole browser, it's impossible to switch to
other tabs or bring up the task manager before dealing with the alert box
first.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
this old-styled modal box locking up the whole browser seems to go against
Chrome's new browser architecture.
