I can confirm this bug and provide more info. Version: 1.0.154.42 (Official Build 7335) With the default Linksys username of "" (blank), and password of "admin", Chrome prompts for the username/password, but then sends no auth headers to the server at all (verified with Wireshark, capturing the traffic). I tried to verify the new HTTP stack in the latest nightlies (using the link in comment 6), but the .zip file was reportedly corrupt.
