I'm the original poster of the bug, although I was logged into a different account accidentally when posting. Turns out that I haven't seen this bug for a couple of weeks now, and I remember having restarted Chrome around that time. I am now running Chrome 0.4.154.36, so it might've been an issue with the older version.
