Comment #1 on issue 5986 by dhhwai: Chrome color rendering incompatible
with Win Exp and/or FTP2000 HTML code
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=5986

Regarding other browsers:
    Safari 3 - FAIL, Opera 9 - FAIL, Firefox 3 - FAIL, IE 7 - OK (and Chrome
- FAIL)

@lynn.gallup the problem with the sample webpages is caused because the
pages were
created with Frontpage 2000, which uses non-standard HTML attributes (ie.
bordercolorlight, bordercolordark) which will not work in any other browser
except IE.

Since you are now trying other browsers like Chrome, you may wish to save
the webpages
from Frontpage in a compliant HTML standard, or update the webpage HTML
code (by
removing the bordercolorlight/bordercolordark) so that the page actually
looks and
works correctly for the other major browsers, instead of just working only
for IE.

All the other browsers are much, much more standards compliant than IE, and
usually
any page that works correctly with the standards compliant browsers will
also work
with IE.

This is not a Chrome bug. Update status to: [Evangelism] ?
