Comment #20 on issue 158 by [email protected]: Incognito window, not so 'incognito' with Flash content http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=158
This evolved into a larger conversation about standard plugin/browser behavior. Some browsers might interpret 'incognito' as just "not saving cookies" whereas others may interpret it as "save no cached data at all", and others may say it means "do nothing", and so on. Given that multiple browsers will have multiple interpretations of 'incognito', what does this mean for the plugin? How should the plugin (Flash, in this case) behave to be consistent? Right now, we are working to answer what "incognito" should mean for different browsers & plugin creators. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
