So, there are two problems, it seems - that may or may not have the same
fix.
The problem sy3620 reported is not the same as the one described in this
bug.
This bug describes a problem where most of the Find UI elements are not
visible
(transparent Find window) after you drag a tab out but the Find box is in
the right
location (and is very hard to reproduce).
The problem sy3620 describes is about the Find box not appearing in the
right
location, but otherwise painting properly as far as I can tell (and is easy
to
reproduce).
However, Ben Goodger has a changelist in review which changes ownership of
the Find
box to the BrowserView, so I think it makes sense to wait until his changes
are in to
see if the problem still occurs.
