Check to see if the Windows user account you're using has administrator privileges: In Windows, go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Local Users and Groups > Users. Double-click on the username you're logged in as. In the dialog that pops up, select the "Member of" tab. See if the group name "Administrators" is on the list.
