New issue 6063 by mahaniok: Chrome closes wrong window in respond to Alt+F4 http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=6063 Chrome Version : 1.0.154.42 (Official Build 7335) URLs (if applicable) : Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 3: Firefox 3: OK IE 7: What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Open multiple windows with multiple tabs 2. Go to one window 3. Press Alt+F4 4. Switch to another window (either with mouse or with Alt+Tab) What is the expected result? The window, which was in focus before step 3, should be closed. What happens instead? The window, to which I have switched after pressing Alt+F4, is closed. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. When Chrome is behaving slow (for whatever reasons), it can react to some shortcuts late, totally messing the sense. If I want to close unneeded window, I don't wait for it to be closed and switch to the window which I use... and a few seconds later Chrome closes actually used window instead of the one that needs to be closed. Firefox behaves correctly in identical situation. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
