Comment #3 on issue 828 by Arne.Hulstein: gmail does not show when behind a proxy. http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=828
I have just removed the old Chrome and done a clean install. The new Chrome does not have the problems with the proxy and I can access gmail, albeit a lot slower than through firefox or ie7. A remaining problem is the login procedure for the proxy. When I close chrome it has not stored the password. So even though the new build allows me to open up new tabs without putting in my password again, it asks for it every time I start Chrome. In my opinion tapping into window's internet settings to pick up on the proxy info might help, as would just saving the username and password. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
