Comment #22 on issue 3811 by turbeauxboy: First word after a line wrapping
has its initial letters missing in Google's internal issue tracking
database's text area.

This is not just internal to Google. I am able to reproduce this bug with
facebook's
search field. Steps:

1) Launch Chrome 1.0.154.36
2) Log into facebook with any account
3) In the upper left corner of the screen, type the word "foo" into the
search box
4) Click the magnifying glass icon to run the search
5) At the top of the search results page, there is now a new search box
that contain
the word "foo"
6) Click to the left of the "f" in "foo" to place your cursor there
7) Type "xx"
8) Note that the "xx" appears to overstrike the "foo"
9) Type "Ctrl+A" on your keyboard to select all of the text in the textfield
10) Note that the text has now changed to "xxfoo"
