This issues appears to be fixed in the 2.x development branch. Would you
be willing
to verify this with a recent 2.x release? You can switch to the dev
channel by
following the instructions at
http://googlechromereleases.blogspot.com/2009/01/dev-
update-new-webkit-version-new.html or you can always get the latest build
from the
nightly changes at http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/continuous/LATEST/
If I don't hear from you by February 1st I will close this as fixed.
