      Safari 3.2.1: OK
       Firefox 3.1: OK
     Firefox 3.0.4: OK
          Opera 10: OK
        Opera 9.63: OK
              IE 8: not working
              IE 7: not working
              IE 6: not working
  Chrome 2.0.156.1: not working

all tests done in Windows XP service pack 2.

still same issue with version 2.0.156.1.

tested files from "comment 6" and "comment 8" with same results.

I've additionally tested in Firefox 3.1 beta 2 and Opera 10 alpha, and they  
work properly.

Internet Explorer 8 Release Coandidate 1 (version 8.0.6001.18343) renders  
the test cases incorrectly,
similar to IE7, but in a different, and probably worse way than Chrome.
