This feature should be optional (not enabled by default though). Although this is a duplicate of Issue 147 which is marked as "Wont Fix" by b...@chromium because - "As described, we are not going to implement this. Part of the design philosophy of Chromium was to eliminate modal popup dialog boxes that interrupt your workflow. While I agree preventing accidental window closing is useful, I think we can come up with a better way of doing it. When we figure out what we want to do, we'll file a new bug for it."
