I have this problem too. I have an Eye-One Display 2 running on Server 2008 x64. Graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 7300 I think. I've always had to restart the computer to get my profile back, but thanks to jeffstoddard's tip things are now much quicker. I really want to try Chrome seriously as it seems great, but it's not going to happen while it mucks up my colours.
