I don't think I have nearly that many items in my bookmarks, but I do think I have a lot, and I think that's the problem, because I've tried turning off the various suggestion options. I don't have any addins, or anything that should affect standard Windows controls. I don't really have much of anything on this machine. I think it's simply all my bookmarks, given that when I export them it produces a 553KB HTML file. I can't think of an easy way to get an accurate count of the number of bookmarks that actually amounts to, at least on a Windows system.
