Comment #4 on issue 6404 by [email protected]: Chrome does not work on windows 7 http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=6404
OK, I have some additional information. The browser works once I uninstalled and reinstalled it. It appears that during the upgrade process from Vista to Windows 7, things in the Chrome install go awry. Some speculation: It appears that Chrome gets installed under 'Users/<user>/AppData/Local/...' instead of 'Program Files'. Windows 7 moves the old profile into a different directory (or something like that, I'm not sure what), and this breaks the Chrome install. This may also be because my user is associated with a domain login. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
