I may have jumped the gun submitting the ticket based on others analysis of
the
problem. There are in fact two opened <span> tags in Chrome. This differs
from
Safari, as Safari opens only one for the exact same snippet -- but I do not
know if
this extra <span> is in error or if it is Evernote's error for rejecting
the data.
Attached are Chrome and Safari's clipboard contents for the same clip for
comparison.
