New issue 7436 by erik.arvidsson: Scrolling cannot be cancelled
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=7436
Chrome Version : 2.0.160.0 (Official Build 9072)
Other browsers tested:
Safari 3 (win): FAIL
Firefox 3: OK
IE 7: OK
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to a back with scrollbars
2. Hold down the mouse pointer on one of the scrollbars
3. Move the mouse so the page/element scrolls
4. Now move the mouse outside the scrollbar (I'm not sure what the exact
threshold is but it seems like this is set to 100px.)
What is the expected result?
The scroll position should be reset to what it was before I started
scrolling
What happens instead?
Nothing
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
This is the standard windows behavior and it is very useful because it
allows you to scroll down the page temporarily and by moving the mouse
outside the scrollbar it snaps back to where you were before.````
