New issue 7449 by erm4gh: save as html canceled for Mercury News articles
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=7449

Chrome Version : 2.0.160.0
URLs (if applicable) : http://www.mercurynews.com/
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
   Firefox 2.0.0.20 OK
   Opera 9.62 OK
   IE 7.0.6001.1800 OK

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Goto http://www.mercurynews.com/
2. Click on the "Property-tax meltdown: Assessor to review values for a
record number of Santa Clara County homes" article on the front page.
3. Right click on the web page and select "save as", and then switch
from "Web page, complete" to "Web page, HTML only"
4. Press the save button

Note: Once the article is no longer on the front page (it says its updated
February 05, 2009) I suspect you will need to register for a free account
with the Mercury News web site, login, and then goto
http://www.mercurynews.com/topstories/ci_11638919?
nclick_check=1to reproduce the problem with that article.

What is the expected result?
Save the web page as a .html file and show the filename in the
download bar with "Completed" next to it.

What happens instead?
Doesn't save the web page as a .html file, and shows the filename in the
download bar with "Canceled" next to it.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

If you save it using the default setting (Web page, complete) it will save
that. The problem only occurs when saving it as a .HTML file.

I reproduced the problem with several other articles on that web site
such as "Google's 'Chief Internet Evangelist' sees bigger, faster Web" in
http://www.siliconvalley.com/sectors . Click on tech and sectors on
the Mercury News web site menu bar to go to that article. Its URL is
http://www.siliconvalley.com/sectors/ci_11637128?nclick_check=1 .

Its also occurs for the main page.

I don't have that problem with other web sites. I haven't noticed this
problem with earlier versions of Chromium.
