Comment #2 on issue 5012 by Sven.H.Koch: Google "Suggest a feature for Google Chrome" page issues http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=5012
For the people who are not familiar with mouse gestures, here is what I use them for and the benefits: The main idea is that you can perform an action just anywhere on the page. No aiming at anything tiny buttons. No small menu items which need to be chosen (e.g. middle mouse button) 1. Go forward/backwards on a page with just one movement of my wrist. 2. close a page by writing L with the mouse. I don't need to 3. Open a new page by clicking on the link and moving up There are a lot more functions, you can even define what happens if you perform a certain gesture, e.g. open a specific bookmark etc... Hope this helps the ones who have never used Opera or mouse gestures in Firefox to understand what Chrome is actually missing in this functionality. Mouse gestures save a lot of time and make browsing effortless. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
